We are a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified company and have modern machinery with which we manufacture almost all of our products in-house.

Our success story

… since 1980

1980

  • Henning GmbH was founded in 1980 by Heinz and Dirk Henning as a metal processing company and production facility for heating oil dosing pumps

1989

  • Move to Berliner Str. 52 in Schwelm

1990

  • Entry into the elevator market

1992

  • Door dampers / closers are the first product developed for the elevator market

1993

  • Industrial dampers / gas springs new in the product portfolio

1996

  • Extension built at Berliner Str. 52, resulting in a doubling of the area

2000

  • A comprehensive investment program was approved – especially for new developments in elevator and building technology
  • Market launch of hydraulic elevator buffers
  • Philip Molineus joins the management and as a shareholder
  • Establishment of the development center in Braunschweig

2001

  • Presentation of the new measurement technology products Mobile Diagnostics and Condition Monitoring at Interlift

2003

  • Introduction of weight watcher overload measuring systems
  • Project with BASF on condition monitoring, the basis for today's WEARwatcher, successfully completed
  • Tim Ebeling becomes Head of R&D and authorized signatory

2005

  • The mobile rope tension measuring system weight watcher MSM12 will be presented at Interlift

2007

  • ELVI system for safety inspection of elevators is launched on the market

2008

  • Move to the location Loher Str. 4, expansion of the office assembly areas by 300m² and 1000m²
  • Move into the new development center with an area of 800 m² in Vechelde

2012

  • Redesign of condition monitoring based on new available technologies (GSM, modems, cloud)
  • Tim Ebeling becomes third managing director

2015

  • The WEARwatcher will be launched eingeführt

2016

  • Dirk Henning leaves the company
  • Tim Ebeling becomes shareholder

2021

  • Henning wins the contract for the world's largest IOT elevator project in Singapore

2022

  • Founding of Henning Asia in Singapore

2023

  • Founding of Henning Czech in Prague to develop its own Henning Cloud
