Particular emphasis was placed on the development of the Weight Watchers Light MultiRope focuses on ease of installation and the desire of many customers for an affordable overload measuring system that meets the requirements of EN 81. The application range of 4 mm – 26 mm rope diameter also meets these requirements. Application areas up to max. 10.000 kg (optional for MultiRope 300) offer a wide range of application possibilities. 

Functionality:

The MultiRope sensor is installed within minutes. During installation, the screws on the retaining bracket are loosened and the sensor is suspended from the ropes. The retaining bracket is then closed again and the clamping screws are tightened until the rope is pressed against the sensor body. A precise torque is not required. No special tools are required. Thanks to the integrated evaluation unit, no additional cabling between the sensor and evaluation unit is required. The device can be configured using the three buttons and the 4-digit LED display. The connection to the control system is established via three freely programmable alarm relays. After calibrating the MultiRope sensor, the evaluation unit displays the loading of the cabin. Once the parameters for the three output relays have been entered using the built-in buttons, the device is ready for operation.
